The maps demonstrate the development of the Petrichor island over the period of time from 1987 to 2017.
Overall, there were signigicant changes in the infrastructure of the island. Within 30 years, not only new housing, transportaion and other infrastucture objects were built, but also an industrial unit has started to function.
In 1987, the island of Petrichor had only Old Ruins and a few small houses. Almost a half of the island was a natural habitat.
By 2017, a plethora of infrastucture objects, as well as a new housing area, have been built.
To the east of the old ruins, a hospital and a shopping center appeared. Furhter to the east, on the coastline, the previous smaller houses were upgraded with the bigger multi-floor dorms. Moreover, a shoe factory opened its doors for new workers. Besides all of that, for convenience reasons, public transporation such as buses were launched, connecting all the mentioned points of interest with a newly built airport on the north-east. New smaller houses were also built neaby the Old Ruins.
