The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and in 2010.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisions where relevant.

The two maps illustrate on how one could access the city hospital in 2007 compared to 2010.

Overall, the ring road alongside the hospital remained same as before. However, some new car parking places were added in the area in 2010. other than that, everything remained same except some location changes.

To reach the city hospital in 2007, one had to go across the city road towards north following the hospital road. This was changed in 2010 as there was a roundabout added in place of the junction connecting hospital and city road. To get to the main entrance of the hospital, one had to pass another roundabout at the other side of the hospital road. The bus station was also moved closer to the hospital road in 2010. It had a two way access from both the roundabouts so that people could move easier.

In 2007, both staffs and regular public used the area situated in the south western corner for car parking. Later in 2010, these places were renovated and divided into two individual spots. public car parking was moved towards the north-east corner, whereas, the previously allocated area remained for staff car parking.
