Overall, a comparison between the two maps reveals a shift of the surroundings from a simple area into a much more modern zone.
Looking into the maps, it is notable that the landscape was innovated with complicated designs. First, all the bus stations along two sides of Hospital Road were removed and merged into a big station which was located in the nearby location to the southwest of the hospital. Moreover, two intersections of Hospital Rd with City Road and Ring Road were demolished to make way for the newly constructed roundabouts, with two pathways navigating to the bus station. There were also developments with the car park which used to be available for both staff and the public. While the former car park was exclusively used by staff in 2010, another public car park was erected to the east of the city hospital, with a small entrance to Ring Road.
