How are you? It’s been really long since we have met. How are things going on at your end? I, myself have been very busy lately so could not write as often we used to earlier. There is good news that I wanted to tell you. I have decided to go for Master’s degree in Information Technology and I have been selected by University of North Australia under foreign scholarship program. The university is just in the outskirts of Melbourne so will be staying in your city for next two years. Doesn’t that sound great!
All the formalities regarding the scholarship and admission are completed and the term will start from 1st July. I will be coming to Melbourne on 20th June and will be staying in the accommodation provided by the university in their campus. To make ends meet, I will have to get a part-time job in nearby area. Will you help me finding a part-time job?
As you have been staying in Melbourne from last 3 years and have done part-time jobs yourself you can guide me. I will be looking out for odd jobs like a waiter, cashier or garden cleaner. You can refer me to your friends and old employers. It would be really helpful if you could do that for me.
