Dear Sir,
I am Hishanthi, a volunteer worker who works since last February in your hospital. I am writing to you this letter to inform that I won't be able to continue my work from the next month onward as I'm going to finish my studies here.
Sir, I was working in elderly unit of your hospital and mostly I was the one who took care of feeding and evening walks of their patients.Apart from that I helped them to take their medicines with the correct doses getting help with the ward nurses.
As I mentioned,I'm going to finish my degree program in last week of this month and after that I hope to fly back to my motherland Sri-Lanka. I couldn't extend my visa and due to that I have to leave the country soon that I thought. But I do remember I informed you that I will be here till I finish my degree.
I'm really sorry to leave like this but this is not intentional, hope you will understand. Furthermore, I want to recommend one of my friend who is still continuing his studies here for the replacement of my the work which I did.He is more interesting about the work and I can assure that he will fulfill my works better than me. He will contact you very soon and please consider about him.
Lastly I need to thank you for giving this wonderful opportunity to helping hand of people.And also I need to thank each and every person of the hospital staff for the given support during this period.I'm going to miss all of them very badly. I wish you and all to get the necessary courage to carry out the duties and help to many more people.
