The pie charts below give data on the spending and consumption of resources by countries of the world and how the population is distributed.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

You should write at least 150 words.

The pie charts illustrate the world's population distribution and their uses of resources on the basis of the continent. In addition, it also shows the proportion of spending money on various items including food and transport.

Overall, Almost a quarter of people on the earth spend their money on food whereas clothing is the least popular item. The majority of the population is from Asia however, Europe and the USA consumed more than half of the resources.

The percentage of money spent on food is the most with 24 %, followed by transport and housing sharing 18% and 12% respectively while people buying clothes being last on the chart.

According to the chart, Asia has the largest population with almost three-fifths of the total population whilst a tenth of people in the world are from Africa. Interestingly, Europe and America shared an equal percentage of individuals with a figure of 14%, and the rest of the world contributes for just 5%.

Resources utilization is abundant in USA and Europe with an astounding share of 60% of the world's total resources, however surprisingly, Asia did not come as near as the two leading nations.
