The two pie charts give information about the percentage of British students who were able to speak languages other than English in the years 2000 and 2010.

Overall, majority of the students were able to speak German while French is the least spoken language. Students speaking Spanish, two other languages and another languages experiences a upward trend over the period given whereas French and British only speaker declined.

In terms of students speaking Spanish it accounted for 30% in 2000 and increased by 5% in 2010. With regard to another language and two other language speaker it made up 15% and 10% respectively at the beginning of the year and both experienced a growth of 5% at the end of the period.

On the other hand, number of students speaking French experiences a downward trend from 15% 10%.German is the only language which remain constant throughout the given period of time which amounted to 10%.
