Dear sir,
I am writing this letter to express my disappointment about your decision of the closing canteen. I am Rahikumar Patel, is working in your company as a senior web developer. I am working with your company for the last 5 years and using your cafeteria regularly. The main reason for avoiding the cafeteria is the high prices of various foods compare to the market.
The cafeteria is a nice place to hang out and spend time with colleagues. They can have morning coffee or tea in the morning. I remembered that 2 years ago, employees used to spend time in the canteen and eating food. However, the affordability of food is pretty low nowadays with the changing of canteen staff. Therefore, people prefer to bring lunch from home to avoid high pay cuts.
If the canteen will close, there is no place for employees gathering in their leisure time. I would suggest that the managing board will replace the canteen franchisee with old staff or put a price restriction on cafeteria management.
