Essay topics: You have been offered a job that will require you to move to a city that you have never visited before. You have a friend who lives there.
Write a letter to your friend. In your letter
1) Explain your situation
2) Say why you feel unsure about living in the city
3) Ask some question about life in the city

Dear Haider,
How are you? It's been long since I saw you last time. Would you be surprised if I tell you that I'll be moving to your city, new york next month?

As suprising as it may sound, I'm thinking to move to the city I have never been before due to the dream job I've secured in APC Bank. The interview was a month before and I got the golden email confirming my appointment yesterday morning. I was so excited untill I read the part written new york as the brunch for my posting during the provisional period.

The key reasons I feel hesitant about relocating is the chaotic and congested city life of that neighbourhood. you may know that I grew up in a countryside and always felt comfortable to in a laid back lifestyle. so, even the idea of living in a cosmopolitan city like NY scares me off!

if I decide to take the job, I don't want to get adjusted in the city all by myself. so, you are the hope I have to make me familiar in the area. can you suggest me regarding the residential area near South Manhattan? Also, what are the things one can do in the city during the weekend?

Hope to hear from you soon!

take care,
Shahla
