In many places new homes are needed but the only space available for building them is in the countryside Some people believe it is more important to protect the countryside and not build new homes there What is your opinion about this

With the subsequent growth of population around the globe, the demand of building homes are increasing day by day even though the spaces available are only in the outskirts of the city. It is argued that we should save the countryside by reducing the construction in those areas which is justified as it helps to save the nature and reduce the carbon emission in those green beds areas.

Firstly, the construction of house and apartments outside the city area by cutting down the trees leads to deforestation. It is very important to save the greenery around the city as it helps in reducing the pollution generated from vehicles in the city. As illustrated by a European journal, the air quality of the European country Austria is very clear due to the maintained green beds all around the country.

Secondly, the outskirts of the city are considered the relaxation places on weekends as when people are stressed out from their daily working routine. Most of the people enjoy their family time in the outskirts by either doing day activities or playing with their kids in the open places as kids can inhale the natural clean air. Building houses in these areas will have huge impact on the livelihood of the local people. In Indian villages people spent most of their time in the green fields to be close to nature.

The construction of housing for the growing population should not affect the green beds close to the cities. Reducing the forests or countryside affects the environment as well as the day to day leisure activity of the people.
