An increase in the waste production is one of the major problem across the globe. A possible reason is people tend to buy more then their actual requirement this is the case especially with the food items. To reduce these wastage government can impose a disposal tax and start awareness campaigns to educate people to limit their production of rubbish and try to recycle as much as possible.
In today's fast life most of the people rely on fast food or packaged food to save their time required in cooking. Also, time limitation makes people to buy things in advance, resulting in buying more than the required quantity. For instance, many people prepare their shopping list and in a single go they purchase their grocery in bulk that can last for about a month. This makes it difficult to calculate the consumption and there are pretty chances that this food will end up in a garbage.
A solution to stop such waste is. one can limit buying food to a minimum quantity. Also, if food is left uneaten, individual can help to pass on the food to the poor and needy people instead of throwing it away. One other solution is that government can try to motivate people to recycle products and allow then an easy access for recycling. Another thing is, an extra tax should be charged to people who produce waste more than the required quantity.
In conclusion, it has become really important to put a restriction on this garbage production as it is increasing day by day, people needs to adjust their purchase in daily requirement. And, government can help by educating people and making recycle plant accessible to all the citizens.
