Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter to inform that I have to decline your offer to work for abc tech as a project manager.
The reason why I cannot take this position is that I cannot live away from family. I tried to convince my wife and children to move to Singapore with me, however, they would not agree. As a husband and a father, I cannot leave them behind to just focus on my career. Another reason is that I have quite a strong attachment to my current company which I have been working for for almost 10 years.
Honestly, this is a golden opportunity for any man to take a step further in his career. I even thought about how far I could improve when I got to work in this international environment. Thus, I would like to express my deep gratitude to receive your invitation to work for abc tech.
As for my current company, I can say that I am enjoying every moment I spend in the office. I have established strong relationships with my boss and coworkers. Everyone understands each other perfectly so the jobs always run smoothly and easily.
I hope that you understand my decision this time.
