Dear Sir or Madam,
I am Prabhjot Kaur, a resident of city Amritsar. I am writing this to inform you about the problems the commuters are facing because of the Amritsar Bus Service. From the last two years, I have been a regular traveller in your bus service and so far it has been quite a good experience, however, the previous two months were extremely inconvenient.
There are a plethora of issues that the public is facing. Firstly, there were mainly three buses commuting after every half an hour from Bus Stand to the University, from the last three months only one bus is available for that route. Moreover, it is never on time and sometimes spends half an hour waiting for passengers. As a result of this, most of the individuals become late for their respective work, because this is the only facility available on that route. Secondly, the charges are also fluctuating, there is are not any fixed ticket charges. Also, they do not consider the student bus passes which is making quite difficult for students to commute.
Owing to the seriousness of the problems, I urge you to take some serious actions. Primarily, there should be regular bus service for the specified route and some stringent measures should be taken for the punctuality of service providers. Next, legal charge regulations should be finalised by authorities, in order to alleviate the miscondution by the ticket collectors.
I wish you will consider my application on priority and will take some stiff actions. I look forward to hearing from you.
