Dear Chris,

I hope you are doing fine today.

I would like to let you know that I have a small accident yesterday night, and your vehicle Honda Civic which I did borrow for a family function got damaged from the backside.

Let me explain to you in detail. I was driving back to home town to attend the wedding event of one of my relatives when the accident happened. The road was slippery due to rain, and I was on a very nominate speed when the other vehicle tried to overtake me with full speed, but he couldn’t able to control his car as the speed was high and he got hit the backside of mine car. Although, there are minor scratches on the main body; however, the bumper had been broken into two pieces.

I went to the authorized dealer here in the town and asked them to replace the bumper entirely so, it will give original look rather than opting tenting and painting option. I hope, the vehicle will be ready in the next two days and will hand over to you as soon as I will be back home in the city.

I thought to let you know in advance so, you won’t get shocked as it is your new Car

Your friend.
