Dear mr. Johnson,
I am writing this letter with regard to mr. tuan who is a new member of my team in the back-end software developing department.
mr. tuan was assigned to work in my team last month. since the day he started, the team and I have been encountering countless mistakes in his coding. According to our rules, everyone has to do their programming and recheck before submitting to me. this person, however, has never checked his work no matter how hard I tried to remind him.
Due to this person, I am facing big problems to deliver final products on time and I have received some negative feedback from our valued customers. this makes me feel very frustrated as a leader who takes responsibility for delivery before deadlines. Moreover, I cannot stand this person because he seems not to listen to anything from me since I am his superior.
Therefore, I would like to suggest that you should have a private conversation with mr. tuan about this situation and persuade him to cooperate. If possible, please give this person some training or transfer him to another department.
