Dear John,
I am writing this letter to nominate a candidate for the best employee of the year award.
I would like to nominate Priyanka from Development team, on behalf of my entire team for this award. Firstly, by keeping her overall year's performance in mind, she truly deserves to get this award as she has worked really hard to finish the project before deadline. Moreover, her potential to handle work pressure and always come up with accurate resolution is remarkable. In addition, she has helped many junior employees to overcome their difficulties and did a smooth knowledge transfer to enhance their skills. Therefore, I believe that she is a right person for this award.
However, in my opinion, there are many characteristics which contributes to make a good employee. For instance, justifying the role and position, good learning capabilities, zeal to work as a good team member, right use of skills and experience, Help Company to grow and being respectful to the company's policies and workplace are some traits which help a person to become an asset for the company. I have seen all these qualities in Priyanka, hence, my nomination goes for her.
