Dear Sir,
I am writing to enquire about some official papers which I forgot at your hotel yesterday. have you found such documents?
To elucidate I had organized a business meet in “The Mercury” conference room with foreign delegates from Japan at your property yesterday. The meeting lasted for a few hours till noon after which we had lunch therefore I believe it was during this time I may have forgotten these papers in the meeting room. For your information the papers were kept in a blue transparent file near to the projector table. The file contains confidential papers regarding the financial turnover of the company therefore loss of these documents would put my job would be risk.
Hence I would request you inform me and keep these documents in your safe custody if your staff manages to find it so that I can send someone from my office to collect it.
I look forward to your immediate help.
Yours sincerely
Ben
