I am writing to inform you that I will be unable to shift to the flat that I rented from your company.
I have signed the contract for the flat with your company, and it states that my rent will start on next month. When you informed that the flat is ready last week, I transferred all my furniture along with some urgent appliances. The flat is almost ready to be occupied; however, I realized a problem avoid me to transfer on the due date.
I work as contracts engineer and responsible for any new contract in the company. A contract has been awarded to the company from an important contractor in China. Therefore, I have been selected with the team who will travel to Beijing to negotiate the terms and conditions. I will be out of the country for two months, and I can not shift till coming back from China.
My travel schedule is fixed with the company, and I can advise you that my arrival back to the country will be within two months. I would therefore request that you amend my contract start date to be after two months from now. It will suit my further arrangement.
