Dear Ms.Flannigan,
I am writing to inform you of my inability to attend the English language course which is due to start in the coming week. I was looking forward to start my classes but due to some unexpected health problem, am unable to. I sincerely regret the inconvenience this has caused you.
Let me explain my situation. I was walking down from work late last week and since it was pouring, the visibility was very poor. Just as I turned towards my apartment lane, I stepped into a pot-hole and lost control.. Unfortunately, I fell sideways on my right hand and broke it. Since it is a hairline fracture, I have been advised to take it slowly for next three weeks and not move it at all. Therefore, joining next week's class is next to impossible.
I will be consulting my doctor by the end of three weeks and would like to join post I get a clean chit. Since it would give me enough time to rest my hand, I would like to join by mid next-month. Please let me know if you could hold my registration until then.
