Dear Michelle,
Trust that you are well. It’s been too long since we were last in touch in Singapore. I suppose you would be surprised to hear that I will come to Queenstown next month for a professional study program. Hope we can have a chance of eating together, I cannot wait to talk to you.
The program that I enrolled is a specialist diploma that providing theoretical knowledge of construction management, and it will take me approximately 6-9 months from May. However, most of my classes are scheduled in the morning of weekdays which means I would be free for the weekdays’ afternoon and weekends. Thus, I am planning to have a part-time job that could cater to my living cost and help me to blend into the local culture.
Could you help me to check with local companies that you familiar for part-time job openings? It would also be great if you can help me to keep an eye on the local newspaper and inform me if any works suitable for me.
Best Regards,
Oscar.
