Explain what will be happening
Offer your apologies in advance
Invite him to join the celebration

Dear David,
I am writing this letter to inform you about a small get together in our backyard this weekend.

As my nephew is graduating law school this this week we are throwing a party on his achivement with our close family and friends on saturday evening which might continue until midnight.

I would like to apologise in advance for the incovience we might cause to the neghiborhood. There are 4 families and 7 friends of my nephew who will be gracing the party with total guest list of 25. we would like to reserve street parking for extra cars I hope that will be not a problem.

We also extend our invitation for you to join the party it starts around 6pm with a small cake cutting followed by dinner and drinks.

Please let me know if you have any concerns regarding this arrangement, I would like to hear your suggestions.

Yours sincerely,

Saketh Devineni.
