Dear Mr Srikanth,
I am living in your apartment at 41 Northwood street with three of my friends for four months. I am writing this letter to express my complete dissatisfaction regarding the non-functioning of the heating system in the house.
Albeit, the assurance that the water heater is in working condition during our rental agreement, we are facing frequent issues with it. Firstly, it is quite old and in damped condition with rust all over the metal coil posing some threat to the user. Secondly, the constant repairs to the heater are impacting our lives and also needs our presence to attend the maintenance guy. Yesterday, the system again stopped working and later upon further inspection, your helping staff informed that the heating system needs to get replaced with a new one. It is estimated to be $600 with purchasing and fixing costs.
As we are through winter, we rely heavily on the heating system in the house. Hence this needs immediate action from you as it is affecting our lives. Also, I would like to request you 30% discount for this month's rent as we had almost finished this month with this issue.
