I am Navdeep Puri, dweller of Huston Street U.S.A, currently pursuing a post graduation diploma in Finance & Taxation in your university. I am inscribing this letter to apologize about keeping the books beyond the due date.
Although I always respect all the rules and regulations of college, this time the situation is just out of control. Last week, when I was preparing for my final examination, suddenly I received a message that my grandfather was not well and hospitalized. I, immediately ran for hospital and by mistake, I carried borrowed books along with my luggage. Since my grand papa is in critical condition and there is nobody in my family to look after him, it is impossible for me to come to college and return the books.
I understand other students also need this book and deeply apologize for inconvenience. I assure you that I would not show such kind of recklessness again and return the books by the end of this month. Please do not revoke my library privileges and I am ready to bear all the fine you impose on me.
