You have a Facebook friend living and he/she is curious to learn about a major news item in your country.
write a letter to your Facebook friend. In your letter,
describe a news story in your country
explain why people are interested in it
say how the story personally relates to you
Dear James,
I hope you will find this letter in radiant health and I am writing this letter to explain you a prominent news story of my nation.
I want to share a recent incident in which 42 soldiers were martyred by a suicide bomber in Kashmir. However, it was an egregious situation for all the citizens of India. Soldiers were patrolling and suddenly, a terrorist came with a car full of explosive and blasted it.
It was a shocking news for every citizen of India because it is the issue of national security. In addition to that, people also want to take revenge with the responsible terrorists who have committed a heinous crime. People are protesting against the government and compelling it to take some profound steps.
This incident affected me a lot because being an Indian, I would not tolerate the anti-humanity act. Moreover, one of my friend's father was also killed in this attack who was a major in Indian army. So, I am very sad due to this wicked act.
I hope, it will help you in your assignment and give my regards to uncle and aunt.
Best regards,
Mohit
