Dear Mr. Johnson,

I am a student in your Business English Course and I am writing to inform about a time-related issue I am having that has made it improbable for me to complete the course and a possible solution.

As you know the class in the late day basically comprises of learners who have day jobs and have a couple of hours after work to attend the lecture. In my case, however, the workload at the workplace has forced staffers to work late recently. Since commuting from the office to attend the class takes over one hour long, allowing for the usual traffic congestions, I often get late on the course. It would be worth to consider finishing the lessons had this unforeseen problem not arisen and the need for staying late hours at work seems to extend further which makes it impossible to continue with the course.

I would, therefore, like to request to be allowed an entry on the same course being offered at 7 am to other group of students. Since, both classes started on the same day and you are the instructor with sole responsibilities for running both the morning and evening sessions, I would imagine both classes should be at the same level on a given day and would not interrupt my learning. If that could not be considered, I wish to be advised on any other alternative.
