You have just read an article in an international travel magazine which contained some information about your town that is incorrect.

Correct the information in this article -
Explain why it is important for the magazine to give correct information
Suggest what the magazine should do about this situation.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter regarding the recently published article in The Travel Overseas magazine. The article title was “Guide to the City Beautiful - Chandigarh”, In that article the editor has provided detailed travel guidance to the Chandigarh city located in the north part of India. I have been reading your magazine for five years and I read that article too but I noticed that there was some wrong information in the famous tourist spot section of the article. Firstly, you have mentioned that SukhnaLake, which is one of the most visited tourist places, is in sector 16, I hereby confirm that the location of the lake is in Sector 6 instead of Sector 16. Secondly, you also stated that visitors can enjoy the metro trip in the city but unfortunately our city is still waiting for the metro railway project. However, other public transport is available to explore the town.

Furthermore, As your team is aware that thousands of travel aspirants read your magazine online and office, therefore, I would suggest you make the required corrections in that segment so that visitors would not be missguided. It is quite vital to publish the correct details because most of the people treat such types of articles as a best travel guide for their vacations.

You may consider my suggestions in this regard, for example, you may publish an apology note in the next week's edition with appropriate information with proof. Moreover, your technical team can easily edit the online article with previously mentioned mistakes.

I hope you may consider my concerns in this regard and do the necessary action to avoid any confusion for the readers.

Yours sincerely,
Deepak Sharma
