you have just read an article in an international travel magazine which contained some information about your town that is incorrect

write a letter to the editor of the magazine. In your letter

* correct the information in the article
* explain why it is important for the magazine to give correct information
* suggest what the magazine should do about the situation

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am Manas Ranjan Sahu indigenous to Bolangir town which is famous for its idyllic views and a renowned festival named as Chocojane. I am writing this letter to inform you about an article, which is recently published one week ago, has a piece of misleading information about Chocojane.

In the article, it is mentioned that the festival starts from the first week of October; however, in fact, it begins from 3rd week of October every year. According to me, it is a tremendous mistake that has made by your publishers.

Moreover, it will disguise the tourist, who all depend on your magazine to plan their travel journey accordingly.

I will suggest you that, kindly republish the same article with appropriate information and a apologies note to my native people, which will not only increase tourist adherence toward your article but also there will be warm regards from Bolangir people.

Hope you will act on this deceptive article and soon come up with concrete details about the Chocojane festival.

Yours faithfully,
Manas Ranjan Sahu
