Dear William,
I hope this letter finds you in good health. It’s been so long since we last met each other. I am writing this letter to let you know about some changes in the plan of the excursion to Sydney which is scheduled for the next month.
I have been anticipating for the last 2 months about our trip. Due to this excitement, I have not only bought sports accessories but also new clothes for every occasion. Besides this, if we go there, it would be a wonderful recreational trip as I am eagerly waiting for this time.
As you know, I have been promoted as a Branch Head and for further training, my manager has recommended my name to the HR department. Unfortunately, the HR department has given the schedule which is clashing/crossing paths with our planned dates for holidays and these are the compulsory sessions which I ought to attend. Owing to this fact, I am in melancholy/low spirited that we have to defer this decision until the next available date.
Wouldn’t you mind, if we can visit there in the first week of August? An apology about the changes in plan and I’m sure you will not only understand my position but also enjoy this alternate plan.
