You have recently moved into a company accommodation and you are facing some issues at the place. Write a letter to your HR department. In the letter, mention:
• A brief description of your accommodation.
• What problems are you facing?
• What do you expect the company to do about it?
Dear Mr James,
I am writing in connection to express my dissatisfaction about the accommodation provided to me by company in New York City. I came here for analytics training for six months and organization has provided me studio apartment near to the training center.
The apartment is fully furnished and it has an amazing view of the city. However, the heating system is not working properly.
As you know, winters are going on and it would be difficult to adjust in below zero degree temperature without the heating unit. I even complaint to the leasing office but to know no use.
I would request you to please either talk to leasing office and rectify this or provide me new place to stay as soon as possible.
I will look forward to hearing from you soon on this.
Yours sincerely,
Kanwal Kohli

here is my letter on the same
here is my letter on the same prompt:
Dear Jane,
I am writing to you to express my dissatisfaction with the apartment, which I was recently relocated to, at our company's accommodation complex. The flat in general is one bedroom, as I requested, with a kitchen and bathroom. It is located in the central tower where we have the main restaurant.
I am facing several issues in this accommodation; which require your kind attention.
First, having the central restaurant on the same building made it extremely noisy, especially that it closes at 2:00 AM. This is significantly making sleeping a tedious endeavor on daily basis.
Secondly, it is obvious that there is a hazardous malfunction in the firefighting and fire alarm systems. Yesterday for instance, I got a false fire alarm around 4:00 AM, we all had to evacuate the building to discover 30 minutes later that there was no actual fire incident. Moreover, I have checked the expiry date of the fire extinguishers; surprisingly, I found out that they should have been maintained 45 days ago.
It would be highly appreciated if you can address the aforementioned issues. Here are some suggestions that I expect the Administration team in your department to take in order to tackle what I am facing here:
1- If the operation hours can be limited to force the restaurant owner closing at no later than 11:00 PM, especially that there are no employees coming for dining service after then.
2- I suggest that facility management team approach the contractor who is responsible for the maintenance of the firefighting system in order to perform all preventive and corrective maintenance works in order to ensure that we are completely protected against any fire hazard.
I am looking forward to hearing from your some positive news about the necessary course of actions.
Sincerely,
Osama.
