Dear Sir,
I am Sapna from Sec 2A of English Dept. I am writing to request you to change my current allocated room for the following reason.
Currently, I share my room with Susan who is doing her Masters with the Chemistry Dept. She has a very different schedule than mine. As she has a lot of research and practice in labs, she tends to stay late and come back late. this disturbs my sleep and schedule. Also, since our departments are different and we have very different personalities, we do not have any common point for discussions. Hence communication is almost nill.
Timings and communication are one thing, but being a bully is another. There are days when she has bullied me to the extent of harassing me. This disturbs me mentally and it has started to impact my studies now, as my grades are now falling down.
Hence for all the above reasons, I would like to request you to allocate me to a room, where I could be sharing with my class fellow and not a Senior. This would not only ease my studying but also save me from being bullied by seniors.
Kindly consider this letter as an application and allocate me to a different room.
