I am writing this letter to draw your attention about my missed flight to New Delhi from the Amsterdam airport on 09.09.2020 at 2PM, owing to a mix-up of terminals by your staff in the airport.
I was at the Amsterdam airport counter well ahead of the scheduled reporting time and checked in as well. The airline staff missed checking my e-ticket properly and mixed it up with another flight to Delhi departing at 4 PM on the same day. The boarding pass issued to me showed that the flight to New Delhi will depart from Terminal Number 1A and I was comfortably seated there in its vicinity, but when I saw no one around till 1.30 PM I raised it to the concierge desk and they asked me to go to Terminal Number 9A. It is at the very end of airport. I rushed there but to no avail since the flight was already on the runway and could not have come back.
Due to this missed flight, I and my wife lost the opportunity to attend my mother-in-law funeral and feel very miserable about it. That was our only chance to bid her final goodbye.
I would appreciate your immediate action by enquiring with the staff present on that day, so that it never happens to anyone again and getting a refund issued at the earliest in order to close this amicably.
