You recently received a letter from a friend asking for advice about whether to go to college or to try to get a job. You think he / she should get a job.
Write a letter to this friend. In your letter
1. say why he / she would not enjoy going to college
2. explain why getting a job is a good idea for him / her
3. suggest types of jobs that would be suitable for him / her

Dear Mike,
Hope you are doing well. I have received your letter asking for a suggestion on whether to go to college or try to get a job. I am aware that you are at a crucial juncture in your career, making a wrong move at this stage would hamper your future prospects.

As you have recently completed your tertiary education, going to university again will put you in a similar environment which will make you feel distracted and bored moreover considering your present financial situation, continuing your education means the extra burden for your parents thus I will recommend going for a job.

Once you start working it will make you independent and financially stable. Nowadays most of the graduates find a job first as it strengthens their profile before they start pursuing their post-graduation. The industry experience they get in invaluable while applying for their higher studies.

Since you are a computer engineering graduate, you can find jobs in software companies and specifically look at software testing or design jobs.

I hope you take my advice seriously and make the right decision.

Warm wishes
vinshu
