You recently took a part-time job working for a local company. After a few weeks, you realised there were some problems with the job.

- describe the problems that you experienced
- suggest what could be done about them
Dear Mr. Jones,
My name is Tim Frank and I am employed as Trainee Front Office Associate in the organization. I have joined this company to get some knowledge about Front office department which will be helpful me in career prospects. I am writing to draw your attention to a few issues which I am facing currently on the shifts.
I am usually working in night shifts. Most of the staff on front desk usually sleeps during their shift and they leave me at the reception. Even when there are heavy check in, they don’t turn up . Martha and me have to deal with the guests complaint and simultaneously handle check in and check out of the guests if there is any. Breakfast timings are from 6:00 am, but usually they start at 6:30am and lot of guests complains at the reception that they couldn’t have breakfast even though they are paying for it.
I would request you to have word with Front office and Restaurant team to resolve this issue and smoothen the operation.
I will be waiting for your positive response.
Yours sincerely,
Tim Frank
