You saw an advert in the newspaper asking for volunteers to help run a charity event. Write a letter of application to the organisers. In your letter:
 Explain why you are interested in helping
 Give details suitable past experience
 Suggest ways you might help with the event

Dear Sir,
Yesterday, I came across your advertisement of youngsters who could participate in a fund-raising event and I am writing to express my interest to be the part of your team.
The reason of my fascination to be the part of this event is the theme as I read in the same advert that this is going to be for the children with special needs. I would like to tell you that I love to be around children and if I would have a chance to assist you or them in any manner, it would be the most pleasurable act.
Besides my love for kids, I am a professional nanny, employed as a full-timer at Mary Childcare Centre. I have been part of this organization since 2018 while prior to that, I was volunteering in a school where disabled kids used to study. Thereby, I am well-versed with the manner of taking care of not only normal children but the special ones too.
In accordance to this, I was thinking that my experience and skill would be conducive in this event. I probably believe that handling and managing the children at event would be the best suited job for me as I am good at it. Even, I could lend my hand in food stall since I possess great culinary skills. Yet, whatever responsibility will be thrown towards me, I will complete that with utmost dedication.
Your prompt revert will be awaited by me.
Yours faithfully, 7th April,2021
Malisha Smith.
