I am writing to thank you for the invitation for the interview and to request you to reschedule the appointment. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend due to another prescheduled meeting at the same time. Please accept my sincere apologies for the same.
Let me explain in bit more detail. Since I'm currently looking for a part time job to fund my studies, I have applied for some openings. One of the employers wants to meet me around 10 AM this Thursday to evaluate my skills and I have already confirmed my availability. Due to this prior commitment, I will not be able to meet you at the same time.
Would you kindly reschedule my appointment to a different date or to a later time on the Thursday? This will be a great help as I'm looking forward to attending the course in your college. Also, could you please share some details about the interview, such as the duration of the discussion and whether any written evaluation is required?
