Dear John,
First of all, I'm sorry that I haven't written to you after returning home. My work has kept me so busy that I couldn't find time to write or call you.
By the way, I hope you are doing good there. I'm writing this letter to request you to return the file that I forgot in my room at your home.
While submitting documents related to the seminar, I realized that the whole file was forgotten by me at your home only. Actually, on the last day I was in hurry to reach the airport on time, so
I packed my luggage in a way that I left this file. All documents were kept in the black colored business file and I vividly remember that I saw it last time in the drawer of the cupboard in the room where I stayed.
All documents in that file are very confidential and very important for me to submit to the human resources department. I request you to post the file on my residential
address by post which I think is the safest way to get it on time. I understand this is an extra burden from my side and I'm ready to pay for all the expenses for the same.
