I am writing with hope that I will be able to reschedule my interview on 24th August , 2020. I had spoken with your secretary on phone and we verbally agreed on the date , but emergency situation just arise that requires the need to postpone the interview.
Let me explain the situation in detail. I was diagnosed with hernia last week which requires immediate surgical operation. Therefore, I booked 29th August 2020 for the surgery and it will take up to two weeks before I can fully recover from the surgical wound. I would appreciate if you can reschedule my interview for first week of next month , I am with hope that I should have fully recovered.
I am of course much interested in the position because it matches my educational background, experience and career goals. I would appreciate if you give an opportunity to offer my skills and experience to contribute to the the accomplishment of the organisation's goals.
