Dear Amit,
I have recently become aware about a program called Project Management Essentials at the company’s training portal. I am writing to seek your permission for taking this course offered by Project Management Institute, New Delhi and it starts on Wednesday, 24 March. There cost associated for this training is $1500, covering all the essential study material along-with the examination fee.
I believe that this program will help me to acquire greater efficiency in managing the multiple projects at any given particular time and will be highly beneficial for the company. After reading reviews from various sources I came to know that this program delivers a good value for organizations, who thrive to deliver value to its customers.
Therefore, for these reasons I am requesting you to grant me a paid leave of 5 days starting from 24 to 29 March to attend the program. I have checked with my other team members for their leave schedule, so far none of them has applied during this period. Moreover, I have delegated few non-critical tasks to my fellow team member Rahul for this duration. However, if required, I am fully available for any highly critical task during the evenings.
I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Best Regards,
Bhupender Pruthi
