Dear Madam,
I am writing this letter with regard to my job as a truck driver which require me to sit for more than 10 hours a day driving from Simla to Agra and this effect my health.
My doctor recently did test for me because of my chest pain and he suggest that I must do 2 hours of moving everyday. If I don’t do anything and sit all day I can get heart attack.
The dispatch department is very difficult and cut our pay if we delay and not reach on time. I request you to please ask them to help me to take 2 hours break as driving truck for 10 hours straight is difficult for me. If I get a break, I can do some walking after 4 to 6 hours of driving.
Driving for 10 hours without break and pressure is not good for any truck driver. 2 hour break can help drivers for safety purposes and like TC truck company drivers we can also be happy driving.
Please help me and other truck drivers with new policy.
