Hope you are enjoying your last days at work. I know you must be feeling emotional as well as excited, to start your career with another company. I am writing this letter to let you know that I won't be able to make it to your farewell party which is on 26th December, coming Saturday and I am really sorry for that.
I know you are going to be extremely mad about this, as we had planned lot of fun stuff to do together on your party. As, you know that I am one of the speaker at Embryology Seminar which was supposed to be happened in the next month. However, now it is going to be held next week and on the same day of your farewell party. So it will be impossible for me to be a part of your farewell party. As, this seminar will be going on for an entire day, I will have to be present there the whole time.
I am really feeling sad for not being able to attend your party. I remembered how we started our career together from this hospital. The best days were those during our training period,from where our bond of friendship started. I will miss you badly, wish you were not leaving this organization. Anyways, but I am extremely happy for you and wish you all the success in life.
