I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction about the idea of closing the sports and leisure center and I wish that the council would contemplate more in this decision.
In the beginning, my family and I usually go to the center every weekend in order to spend some time in the fresh air. In addition, my son, John, has participated in the center's football team in order to play his favorite sport. Moreover, my wife loves to practice swimming in the center's swimming pool with her friends and they never miss a weekend unless the weather is unsuitable.
Furthermore, not only is the center important facility for my family, but it also keeps people fit and healthy, besides it develops the communication between the families in the whole town. Also, were the number of people who are joining the club increases every year, the club would gain much more money in order to cover its expenses and benefit the local community too.
On the other hand, if the center is closed, many teenagers will stop practicing any kind of sports, which will result in an increase in the percentage of obese adolescents among the county.
