Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing with regards to your plan to hire people for volunteering jobs at your hospital. I am last year student in food science at Oxford University and interested in undertaking such responsibilities because not only do they help me to practice whatever I have learned at university but also helping others gives me a sense of pride and satisfaction.
Based on my academic subject, I am able to supervise the quality of food and ingredients in the hospital’s kitchen. In addition, I am knowledgable enough to write proper diets for patients based on their health condition. Furthermore, I have excellent interpersonal skills and integral knowledge about
computers which can be efficient for duties such as secretary, file clerk and so forth.
As I have to finish my dissertation by 20th of June, during this period, I can be at the hospital only in the evening. However, after that specific time, I am free to undertake full-time duties for office hours. I would be extremely grateful if you could accept me as a volunteer in your hospital.
