Essay topics:

Your next door neighbour owns a small dog that barks throughout the day and the night. Write a letter to your neighbour requesting that something be done about the dog.
Include in your letter:
· Your reason for writing
· What you would like to happen
· A nice, respectful style

Dear John,
I hope this letter finds you in pink of your health. I’m writing this letter in regards to your pet, Sandy.
I would like to bring to your attention about the dog, sandy being a constant disturbance in the apartment and to me in specific. After a tiring day at work last week, while I lay down in my room for a relaxing night, it started barking continuously for 2 hours straight which caused to lose my sleep and also resulted in a bad performance the next day at the office.
Although, I find it very joyful and innocent most of the times, situations as these are increasing with each day and creating an issue to the entire floor. Therefore I suggest you to either please use an anti-bark collar on the dog at night and weekdays to ensure the barking is controlled and we can have a peaceful night at our home or can be kept in a kennel during weekdays so that our schedules don’t get effected.
I hope this is taken in a positive way and be resolved at the earliest. Look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours Sincerely,
Mihira M
