Athough the time flies, my memory about my dear grandma always stick at my mind. My grandma who is very resourseful and affectionate toward her children and grandchildren. The deepest memory that I remember is the 60th birthday celebration of her.
At that time, I was a ten year old girl who is very playful and clumsy. On that day, my parents wanted to surpise her by celebrating a party. My Mon occupied all day in cooking and decorating. I also helped her a hand with some houseworks. The party started at the afternoon with superb food served on the table, specially, the creamy cupcake that made by my Mon and I with the bottom from our heart. My grandma was full of surprised. She wept tears of joy, and I saw teardrop on her thin cheeks. After we sang the Happy birthday song, my grandma prepared blowing out candle. Unfortunely, I handshaking made the cupcake and all of her presents fall down and break out. The atmosphere was as got stuck at that embarrassing moment. I trembled with fear in front of the terrible space. My parents were absolutely furious and yelled at me. But, then, my prandma with a sweet smile and warm eyes on her face, approached, rubbed my head and embraced me. In stead of scolding, she encourge and advise me to be more careful. My parents calmed down gradualy, the atmosphere return happy. However, I was till feel regretful.
A short time later, my gramdma got serious sick and passed away. No one could imagine that birthday celebration is the final one. Through my rest childhood, I suffered by the torment that my gramdma went away because of my fault on her birthday. I did believe that if I had not taken mistake, my grandma could have prayed and had good health. A long time after that, as I grew up more and my Mon encourged me and helped me have optimistic thought. I believe that my altruistic grandma would go to the heaven and hope me be happy. From this time , I was more mature and careful in both action and thought.
My memory about my dear grandma always is the happiest ones in my heart. I love her so much and will never forget that birthday celebration and the lesson she gave me.
