Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Playing computer games is a waste of time. Children should not be allowed to play them.
Using video games might be a useful tool to teach dierent subjects. One of the most dicult, and recurring, challenges when teaching a subject is keeping the student motivated and entertained during the lecture, and games do precisely that, they keep the player focused and therefor acquiring the knowledge that allows them to move forward in the game. I know that because i play video games therefor i have experienced rst handed the hypnotic eect they have, and i have used video games as a tool to teach history to my brother who hates that subject. On that purpose, when he asked me to help him with roman history, i picked up a game in which the player takes the role of a roman major, or edil in this case, during the transition from the republic to empire, so he learned about of the issues of that time, like the political problems between Caesar and Pompeii, the threat of barbarian invasions and how it felt to actually live during that time.
I have also learned a lot of economics concept by playing other strategy games, such as "Patrician III". In this game, you assume the role of a merchant in the Baltic Sea during the times of the Hanseatic League. The challenge of the game is learning and managing a lot of dierent economic and trade concepts like supply and demand, currency exchange rate, export-import regulations, commercial loans, searching for larger trading markets in the Baltic Sea and abroad, etc. So at the same time, you can have fun while learning about trade
and economics.
This form of learning also has the virtue of allowing the player to actually use the concepts and not just read about them, becoming a more practical and useful knowledge, therefor it becomes a deeper and more enduring concept. In addition to that, it's remarkable how games challenge you to manage a lot of different variables at the same time, demanding you to adapt to the circumstances and planning your response quickly and accordingly
In the light of the foregoing, i consider that games could be a useful tool when teaching dierent subjects, and by doing so, they make it an exciting process of learning. Moreover, games are versatile, so you can always nd a game that suits your personal enjoyment, entertainment and education.

Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:
para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.
So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:
reasons == advantages or
reasons == disadvantages
for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
