Essay topics:

some people think that workers are more satisfied when they have many different types of tasks to do during the workday than when they do similar tasks all day long. what do you think?

In modern days, different individuals have various workstyles. Without a shadow of a doubt, the company's task arrangement plays important role in worker satisfaction. Some people advocate that companies distributing diverse types of tasks is more helpful for workers. Others maintain a contrary view that different tasks are detrimental to their concentration. While these ideas have their bases, they need to be scrutinized meticulously. In my opinion, variety is the spice of life, performing multiple tasks during the workday is more satisfying and has a more profound influence. In the subsequent paragraphs, I will elaborate on my viewpoint through two compelling reasons.

First of all, from a standpoint of mentality, performing various tasks leads to higher job satisfaction because it keeps employees engaged and motivated. When workers do the same task repeatedly, they are more likely to experience boredom and monotony, which can lead to decreased satisfaction and productivity. In contrast, diverse tasks keep them challenged and receive a fresh feeling. My friend's experience is an excellent example of this. She is an artist who has made a bit of a name for herself. Through her artworks, I can find many different subjects from mythical creatures such as little luminous critters and gigantic ancient dragons to science fiction vibe objects, for example, cyborgs in apocalyptic scenes and enormous spaceships above the horizon. She loves finding inspiration from books and movies or even from walking after dinner, she obtains a sense of fulfillment and it is a pleasure for her to challenge different topics by swapping tasks during the painting process. In other words, she feels more satisfied with variety than doing similar tasks all day long.

Moreover, in consideration of development, different tasks can also provide employees with opportunities to acquire new skills and knowledge, which can increase their contentment too. Workers may enhance their overall comprehension of the project and reach out to other aspects which are conducive to their future careers. For instance, as a 3D graphic designer, I am not only interested in 3D characters but also environments, lighting, mechanical motions, special effects, and so forth. Spending time on different tasks throughout the day allows me to efficiently learn more about the industry and enhance my technical skills, on top of that, along with the exploration of different fields, I become more determined in the direction of my career that I should cultivate.

A voice rises that performing similar tasks all day long is more satisfying because it encourages people to develop expertise in their field. However, this argument overlooks the fact that the significance of creativity. Just like the story: The Fox and the Grape. The fox convinces itself that the grapes in the vineyard are probably sour because it fails too many times to catch them. In the context of work, if we find ourselves doing the same task repeatedly, we may cheat ourselves that it is not important to try new things. However, if we embrace diversity and new tasks, we may find that it leads to more chances to pop up new ideals and avoid falling into a bubble filter.

Therefore, reflecting upon all reasons mentioned above, trying different topics or tasks in our work is a good way to hearten workers and exerts good influence in a myriad of facets. Not only benefits the contentment but also favorable to employees' future. While there are one thousand Hamlets in one thousand people's eyes, I believe my opponents will compromise after reading my article.
