Some students prefer classes with open discussions between the professor and students and almost no lectures. Other students prefer classes with lectures and almost no discussions. Which do you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
Education is one of the most important part of social life in modern century.
Likely, all the progresses of any country go back to just one spite,sience and technology,which are result of scientific researches and efforts in the universities.
Some people think that education difinable when it comes from classes which are represented only by a lecture with no discussions, but some oppose. In my view, classes with discussion are more appealing in two reasons.
First, open discussion classes help students to go into the science and find requiered and useful knowledge for the course or maybe the chapter of the next class because they wants to be ready and prepare some information for next meeting in the class.This strategy helps students get motivated in being knowledgable and learn courses very fast in a perfect quality of comprehension and get interested in the subject.For example, I remember three years ago, when I was an undergraduate student in Tehran university, I took a class with professor Rahbar which was called Labor economy course.The professor had a strong tendency to involve students during whole the one and half hours of the class.So,I always wanted to be ready for corpration with him and other students.Furthermore,Iused to search alot before the meeting and in the end of the class,I was interested in labor economy increadibly as now I am going to study this field in the future for master programe.As you can see,open discussion classes help students to get motivated in learning knowledge and see the subject appealing.
Second,open discussion classes stimulate students to learn easier.Many classes are exausting for studends specially in the morning because they are sleepy and can not concentrate on the lecture perfectly.So,when this strategy push them involve discussions and also earn mentioned datas in the class.For example,when I went to an English class at seven in the morning,I could not focus on the topic that MR.Ahmadi was explaining.As he saw me boring,he wanted me to give an opinion about the topic.Suddenly I descided to concentrate and finally I was as good as one of the top students of the class that my teacher appretiate me for being active in the class.As a result,we can see how an open discussion class helps students to focus on the lesson.
In conclusion,opendiscussion classes are better for education.Because not only students get motivated and interested in searching for knowledge,but also they can focus perfectly on the lesson.I think teachers and professors should add a little inspiretion to be innovative for keeping their classes attractive.
