I believe it is more beneficial to have my grades determined by numerous small assignments, because in this way, students may revise regulaly and consentrate on each small assignments , instead of work extremely hard before the deadline of large assignments. In order to get good grades by doing well in multiple assignments, students need to have a good knowledge of what they learned and be observant. Yet, they don't have to be stressed out because they have multiple chances to improve their grades.​First, small assignment can be helpful to consolidate knowledge. Consider a situation : Alice revise the lecture everyday in order to get good grades in her small assignments because her final grades is determined by numerous small assignments; whereas Bob, being in a defferent school, is used to work really hard when doing the large assignments but seldom attach importance to small assignments since they don't count on final grades. We can tell that Alice, with years of practice, will have a much more silid fundation of knowledge in her field than Bob.​Furthermore, numerous small assignments can make students observant. Multiple small assignments require attention more often than a few large ones, especially when it comes to Art subjects. For example, in a photography course, students that are required to hand in multiple photo collections need to look around all the time and be aware what sort of scene and be made into a photo collection. Such students can be really observant.​Finally, multiple small assignments allows students to err, thus make them less stressful.
