Summarize the points made in the lecture, being sure to explain how they cast doubt on the specific theories mentioned in the reading passage.

The reading and the lecture offer two opposing views on the proposed solutions to the golden frogs' fungus disease. Whereas the author of the reading suggests that with these solutions, the golden frog population will be survived, the lecturer states that none of the mentioned solutions are efficacious to assist the frogs. She casts doubt on the main points made in the text by providing the three reasons.
First, according to the text, a kind of bacteria could protect the golden frogs by producing a chemical which abolishes the fungal cells. However, the lecturer disputes that the bacterium solution is not permanent, and if the bacteria does not have the chance of staying on the golden frogs' skin, it won't produce the chemical for protecting frog.
Secondly, the author asserts that by releasing the newly- bred golden frogs from captivity, they could increase their population through the wild. Even though, the lecturer believes that releasing them into the wild with the same condition is dangerous for the golden frogs' population because they will be in cthe environment consist of many animals with diseases which cause them to have the frugus problem again. She says the newly replenished frogs will soon die out as well.
Finally, the frogs could increase their body temperatures and defend themselves, based on what the reading claims. Althogh, the lecturer implies that this feature have a drawback fr the frogs, which is the energy consuming. She explains that frogs will loos so much energy to heat their bodies which endanger themselves and weaken them, so they become suseptible to get more diseases.
To recap, the lecturer argues that the three proposed solutions in the reading will not be effective to survive the golden frogs. She dicusses the reasons as mentioned above.
