In contrasts, the lecturer explains that there is no chemical remains that supports this point. She asserts that feathers have a special chemical that is kind of protein. These chemicals have found in these fossils indicating that these lines are fossils of feathers.
Third, the passage declares that feathers should be located in places which help the animals fly but these lines were located in places such as backbone and tails of these fossils. Again, the speaker reveals that we have found some animals that had colorful feather on their tails. These feathers were colorful in order to attract mates. Therefore, we can accept the idea that dinosaurs had feathers on their tails.
